Louisze Chan Pui Sze

¶ Began her practice with moving images, experimenting with the interplay between visual narratives and emotion. She later expanded her practice to include mixed-media works. Chan recently exhibited mxied media work at HART Haus (Hong Kong, 2024) and PMQ (Hong Kong, 2023). Chan's moving images works have screened at "Growing in the Cracks: Hong Kong Experimental Short Films" (Taipei, Taiwan, 2023), “Video Art Academy 2023” (Clermont-Ferrand, France 2023), “Anifilm Festival 2023” (Liberec, Czech, 2023), “Future Vision Festival” (Japan and Netherlands, 2023), “ANNY: Animation Nights New York “DON’T STOP MOTION.” (New York, 2023), “ANIMAGE Festival Competitive Screening 2022” (Recife, Brazil, 2022), “CutOut Fest 2022” (Querétaro, Mexico, 2022), and Floating Projects (Hong Kong, 2020), among others. Chan was awarded 24th DigiCon6 Merit Award (Hong Kong,2023) and DepicT! Main Award 2022 (UK, 2022).

¶ Currently lives and works in Hong Kong.
